Thanks Fancy, Sydney, Chook and Rexy. Babies are doing so well, they are eating and drinking on their own, playing with each other. (And me, can't help myself) and having lots of snuggles and sleeps. I know it's early days yet but they are looking very energetic.
I was like a mum with a new born bub during the night, I was getting up and doing night drinks. My husband made me a tiny self drink feeder this morning and they loved it. Still crossing my fingers

@fancychooklady tell me how you go at the show. The SLW rooster is that the one you were talking to me about on the phone?

Got my first egg from my Light Sussex pen today. They hatched on 14/9/13, so it took a bit longer than expected.
I was very pleased with my young Araucanas - First egg at age 20 weeks and one day.

Hi crazychooklady, lol that's what my hubby calls me. Google andy Vardy's backyard chickens and you will find breeders in NSW. If you are happy to take the gamble on post I have some lovely red partridge eggs.

Glad to hear your babies are thriving. Lol, I went to the poultry show ran into 3 people I know . They followed me home and went home with some of my birds. It was pretty lame. I know I'm bias , but my birds were much closer to SOP. The word has definately got out about my coro's. I only have 4 chicks and it seems I have started a bidding war over them. I rehomed 4 Roos this week so I'm happy about that. Keep me updated on your babies, feel free to call me.
