I had a fun morning in Brissy. Took down two young marans girls for a lady and a rooster for a lovely bycer. We were meeting at a shell servo. The lady for the young marans arrived first and as we were transferring them to the cage one got out. Well here we are the lady, her mum, hubby and my son running all over the servo carpark trying to catch an escaped 6 week old maran hen. I can only imagine what the city people though of us running around into bushes etc trying to catch her. We did get her back with no injuries in the end Hubby says can you imagine if they watched the ctv footage back Thankfully the rooster exchange went much smoother

Lol, I'm always paranoid that something like that will happen. Glad you caught your little hen.

I'm from that funny little island called Tassie I just wanted to say hi and let others know about a product I found named Stable Plus. Its basically the same as the Sweet PDZ I have heard so much about. After searching everywhere I found it at Horseland. $41.95 for a 15 kg bag but its so worth it.

. Hi I'm in the Huon. I have considered using it instead of sand.

I haven't used sand before, was worried they might try to take a sand bath in it. How do you find it?
There is basically no odor with this stuff, although I only have two chickens.

Well, they all go to live on Buttercup Farm where they spend their long and happy lives,
gambolling in the meadows with fluffy bunnies and cute little puppy dogs.

Or she uses them to train her greyhounds.

One or the other I expect.
