Those chicks are gorgeous K Spot! I'm most envious of everyone that has the space for chicken math. I'm not brave enough to go over my allotted 6 hens.

Im allowed 20 fowl, including one rooster for my block size. Including the 9 chicks, I have 18.

Have since found a bylaw that says if we are part of a club we can have 25 but still no roosters.

That's really interesting! I'm going to look into that - thanks Ben. I also recently had a look at your chicken journey. You had a really rough start to say the least. I also noticed you have awesome constructions skills so I hope you don't mind if I hit you up with a few questions. Our run is nearly finished (& yes we made a few mistakes) and the playhouse was repurposed so that was relatively easy. I just need to make the short tunnel to join the hen house and the run. At the moment I carry them from one to the other & they have all learnt to jump up on the little stable door for their journey. It's sweet but I'm looking forward to letting them get themselves in & out.
My question is - how do I cut a hole in an already constructed house for the pop door to the tunnel? Do I need to use a circular saw to do this?
