Well the coop isn't being moved haha, definitely has to stay where it is.

Just the inside needs a reno, that's all.

I've heard that external nest boxes can turn into hot boxes in hot countries but as yours are on the opposite side to where you get the most sun it should be ok. My coop has the same orientation so if you find they get very hot please let me know. I'm also thinking of adding external nest boxes on the far side. I have 3.5 months to wait for eggs still so no rush. I also second leaving the studs exposed.

Thanks cwrite - I'm thinking of installing ventilation holes in the boxes if they do indeed get quite hot as no doubt some may be used by broodies in the future.
 
I had a pair of embden Geese. They were not friendly at all to me. I got them as a giveaway as adult geese. They live with my neighbour and love her but still try to attack me if I go in her pen.:idunno :eek:
