Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

Hey everyone been a while since ive had a chance to sit and enjoy a bit of mindless websurfing! Good to see everyone is well.

Now that I have the chance to be online again I need to ask some advice. I know female pekins can have ruffled neck feathers due to mating but my male is almost at the point where my female has a sort of redness showing through her feathers! Im so worried the poor thing is in pain but don't know what to do. Would they be upset if I was separate them ie give Stanley to a new home (parents idea I wouldn't be able to do it) or is it that I need another female to distract my male (which I aloe can't do or mum will loose it)

I would get stanely a couple more females.

Thanks @satay haha looks like ill have to do some major comparmising with my mum haha seeing as pekins don't brood though is there any other flightless ducks that I could get to pair with Stanley? I really don't know much about ducks haha mine are rescues

Indian runners are flightless too but also not often know to go broody. Want a broody I would suggest a khaki Campbell. They can fly but mine never have.

Thank you Fancy and Satay

Same can't be said for their Welsummer mother, Sunny. She's looking dreadful going through her moult.
