Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

Oh that's sad. I hate crows! Someone told me to kill one , paint it white and the site of a white crow frightens the others away. :/ On the eye thing make up a salt water wash draw it up into syringe and irrigate morning and night. I found that the Terramycin antibiotic spray works well. You can also get it in powder form.
If you have any neighbors with cattle , they might have some on hand. It's pink eye spray. If not keep the chlorsig up to it and oral antibiotics. Once the infection turns to the consistency of cheese , it's much harder to treat without surgery.

Thank you satay

I am sorry to hear that your day was not so good

I am not a huge fan of Crows and definitely do not trust them; depending on the size of the youngster, I would not put it past a Crow to attack. I believe they are not fussy and very much an opportunist. On the other hand, I have read that they are good for scaring away Hawks. I am always wary of them when the bubbies are tiny. Being bantams, my younger girls are not much bigger than a Crow and for this reason, if my girls are free ranging I have to supervise.

Thanks fancy. No cattle folks in our estate but I may go look at the produce if she doesn't pickup in a day or two.

I make the following points:-
  1. The only think I need to be careful about is that we do not double claim, I assume that if I give you a receipt for http://www.bakeridi.edu.au/ you will claim this on your tax so I need to deduct this amount when I sent my donation for tax purposes.
  2. I expected this conversation to be along these lines:-
    1. There a no Blue Plymouth Rocks in Oz
    2. What is a Blue Plymouth Rock

Thank you to those who support my efforts, you may find my website helpful http://www.findtex.com.au/

While I support your cause as many here would ( I personally lost a grandfather and near l grandmother and have a nephew with type 2) I think you will find a few book keepers and accountants here. We are not saying " don't" we are saying be careful and there is a difference And if your registered to do it on behalf of the organisation you'll have no issues ! Just like when I organised a raffle for aspect ! Once registered you have approval to raise money, issue receipts ect having said that, Good Luck raising funds.
