Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

Lovely pics Teila.
Lucas, I like LightPiper too.
My big cat, Tiger, spent some time in the run today while I was in there.  No one got hurt, but Steve (named after Minecraft Steve) followed Tiger around the whole time.  She really looks like she would like to eat a cat!  Tiger got a peck on the behind & while I'm reasonably sure the pullets are safe from the cats, I'm not so sure about the other way around.

LG ( little George ) comes into the kitchen and eats the cats food. He scares the crap out of them when he gives them that ' , what's that on your ear look '
Both cats scarpa PDQ .

I have Blue Plymouth Rocks for sell, recognised by the Plymouth Rock club of Australia. $80 per bird, 50% to go to diabetes research and is tax deductable.
Be careful saying it is tax deductible. As far as I know, anytime you purchase something, even though the proceeds are going to a charity, then I am not sure that it is still tax deductible. An out and out donation of cash or goods is deductible, however.

Lovely looking birds but I agree with rexy and Sam ...unfortunately can't be used as a tax deduction..

A bad day yesterday here. One of my poor Pekins had a swollen eye. I put some chlorsig drops in there and today both eyes are swollen shut.. No other symptoms . I have ordered some biotics on line so hopefully she doesn't get any worse til they arrive in a few days. I also lost one of my runner babies. Went to check on them and found 2 ok, 1 being attacked by a crow(bleeding from the back of the neck) and one gone. Have searched everywhere for the missing one but it has vanished. I didn't think crows would attack young ducks? there was no sign of anything else in or near the duck pens though. I have moved the mumma and babies to a new closed in pen and the little guy seems to be doing much better today.
