Calm yer farm, as my kids say. It's a winter solstice Tasmanian feast/festival. Has an awesome light show and art festival. I can see the lights from here and I'm 45 mins from Hobart. I escaped the dreaded schoolies this year because our year 12 girl went to Paris instead. Our youngest has year 12 next year but she'd prefer to go and stay at a horse stud and work. You can live in hope that by the time your kids are of age the ' fun police ' will have banned it.
It's getting dark here already .

Hi Thank you for welcoming me to backyard chickens, I thought it would be a good idea to find out information from others that had chickens. I have two dogs, miniature fox terries, three chickens, Isa brown, Australorpe and one that I don't know the breed and two Budgies. Nice to hear from you. I think Lucas 's white chook is a leghorn .

She is a Marans (notice the feathered feet) cross White Leghorn.

Thanks for letting me know, I will look up marans but I thought she may hAve had some leghorn in her.
