Satay, I like your doves way of thinking. Nest as close to the food as possible!

Beautiful chics Fancy. I've already decided that I'm going to hatch eggs with a broody & silkies are pretty hard to beat. Using bators looks far too dicey, plus if your bird does the hatching, any eggs she turfs out are up to her & no worrying about if I got something wrong. Perhaps if I raise a silkie chick first I can slow myself down a bit.

Hi everyone, I'm a new addition to the forum from Aus. I've just got two young ladies. Loretta my silkie hen and Mavis my blue orpington. I'm planning on getting a marans and an aracuana at some stage.:D

:welcome and thank you :) Updated report this morning all 3 Belgium's are looking great. Hatch finished now so it ended up 6 marans (2 died so four ok) and the 3 Belgium's. Your ladies soundly lovely feel free to share some pics with us.
