Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

I have a question for the marans people on here. I have lost 2 of my marans in the last two nights. Both girls were 3/4 grown. Seemed perfectly fine the night before and dead in the morning. No marks on them No signs of illness. They haven't been around other hens except their marans sisters. All other marans seem fine. Both girls were sisters that I hatched from Phils eggs. Anyone got any clues? @TheChookPatch @rexy

Oh sorry for your loss. It might not be necessarily breed specific, I have 2 bantams in sick bay ATM and was up all night with an orphan betong. Poor little thing died early this morning. :(
We are experiencing a flood , our bottom 50 acres is under water and still it is raining. :th

Just took these pics with my iPad. Please take our rain satay.

I thought maybe It might be something genetic so I thought I would check with the marans girls. I'm stumped really. Fingers crossed I don't loose anymore.

In recent years, the marans got so inbred that people were having trouble raising the young ones to adulthood. Phil's shouldn't be like that, but that is the only marans specific thing I can think of. Sorry for your loss. :hugs
