I just witnessed our first predator incident, had a hawk bashing about around the flock. Seems like a few ruffled feathers was all we suffered though. I was afraid we lost our Sussex pullet, since she was nowhere to be found, but I sent one of the labs out to look for her, and she quickly found her hiding under a rock and some bushes outside our yard. Both the Sussex pullet and roo are really shaken, and there were loose feathers around both the spots I found them in, but no blood to be seen.

Hi ladies and gents just joined up good to see so many locals on here I am just south of perth with 2 isabrowns hens and 3 unkown blue Australorp chicks 14 weeks old

I'm in Warnbro a couple of streets back from the beach, nice size block for the chooks to have a scratch in, the photos below are from the this morning im sure the middle one is a roo but not sure about the other 2 [COLOR=B42000] [/COLOR]

My guess would be the first two in the first picture are roosters the one to the right looks kinda roosterish but a little hard to tell.

Depending on age , probably 3 out of 3 roosters.

@CJ88 I saw your other post where you said they were 14 weeks. At that age, I'd say roosters too with that developed and red combs.

Thanks everyone not the news I wanted but hey what you going to do will have to get some more day olds and start again unless they stay quite only 1 crows so far

Yep I'm getting pretty good at spotting Roos , I'd have to agree. How's the weather over your way ash? Only a week till they leave.
