As mentioned, my cats have an outdoor play area and they can see the chickens from there. TV for Cats! They do not seem too interested most of the time and are used to the adult gals but boy oh boy do they love to watch the chicks when we have some!

Forgot to add I left the door open the other day when I went up to check the mail and I came back and found my 3 pekins on the couch watching dr phil

I should have got a pic. I do love their normal sweet natures.

That is too funny!

They are such sweet little characters ... Cilla, my matriarch can easily reach the roost at night time and if I am not home she puts herself to bed but if I am home she will not go to bed unless I pick her up and put her on the roost!

We all seem to get that one crappy neighbour from time to time don't we.. Thankfully mine have moved on. My cat is terrified of chickens so I have no probs with him . He got chased about 3 acres by the Belgians the other day. He hightailed it out of there

Lol, we have the ' she devil' of all time. She attacks visitors, runs down native ducks and I've seen her spring 3 metres in the air to catch a plover. But she is terrified of broody hens, so much so that she takes the long way around, rather than enter their domain.

I love my cats and chickens equally and never tire of looking at pictures of others

I have just been cat sitting for my neighbour. Sadly, his cat, Ziggy, has cancer. Understandably my neighbour cannot afford the thousands of $$$'s it will cost for Ziggy to see a Cat Oncologist and even if he did have surgery, radiotherapy etc, it may have already spread.

Anyways, my neighbour is trying Essiac Tea which some people have had wonderful results with in treating cancer and leukemia. Ziggy needs 3 x syringes of Essiac morning and night and he does not like the taste .. I had a 'fun' week and even managed to get some into his belly without requiring stitches. My perfume of choice for that week was 'Aroma of Essiac' and I appeared to have worn/washed way more T-shirts

So we are all cat lovers too. So are all your black cats evil too? Bella rubs and smooches our visitors and I have to tell them to ignore her. As soon as they reciprocate the pat she hisses and spats at them and it usually ends in tears. She devil.

Oh dear, I know I shouldn't be laughing but that is funny! Love how she lures them into a false sense of security and then attacks! Clever girl! lol

Syba is not the evil one in our home he is actually a big sook; worships his Dad to the point of obsession and follows him everywhere! Chimee, on the other hand, is a little devil. No cuddles for her unless you give her 24 hours notice in writing; or it is anytime between 1am and 5am and then she will wake you with a paw to the face and demand a belly rub! When she has had enough of belly rubs she will slash you!!

Hubby had to go away for a week for work. When he got back I told him that next time he either takes Syba or me with him!! Do not leave me alone with your cat while you are away! Syba cried and cried and sooked and moaned the whole time hubby was gone! I tell Syba on a daily basis that he is pathetic but I also tell them both on a daily basis that I love them to bits!!
