Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

Wow!! 15 weeks have past now since these silver laced sussex have hatched. I still habe all six and they have turned out just beautiful.
Out of the six chicks - only one rooster so not bad!!!

He has been jumping on my other hens since 9 weeks old and I must say he has become a pro at it.
I doubt he his fertile tho. He is not even crowing. What great instincts he has leading the other girls around like they are his little possy!! Haha
Unfortunately i have to re-home him as I cannot keep roosters. :(

Thankyou everyone for your help!!

Never heard of Silver laced Sussex until now. But we have 3 new pullets that look a lot like your 2nd picture. They are mixed breeds. I am thinking that they are Speckled Sussex (our roo) & austalourp mix. Or maybe jersey giant? Someday I will figure out this picture posting thing.....maybe.

Your chickens are beautiful.

Thank you all for the comments regarding my adorable little silver/grey bubby; I will post some more pictures in a week or so and hopefully someone will be able to give me an idea of what colour he/she is.

Outpost JWB good luck with the rat shooting!

Flamie a 1 in 6 rooster ratio is awesome! Congratulations! I am sorry to hear that you cannot keep a rooster; same here. I love the shot of them all on the tree perch in the run; beautiful chickens!

Congrats on such a great ratio. Shame you can't keep your boy but at least you will be able to keep most if them.
