Umm...We do have Phoenix here in AustraliaI was hoping you were going to mention phoenix Luke. There is a syndicate in Tasmania that are bringing in a few breeds & phoenix are on their list. They are supposedly already in Oz, but so few that those who have them are keeping pretty quiet. Beautiful birds & reasonably productive. When I have space to have roosters... I can always dream.

I'm apart of this FB group, join them and you can ask if anyone has some for sale now.

Of course they are not as good as their overseas counterparts but still very beautiful.
He is awesome and a real happy surprise! Shame about his sisters though. These birds were bred from the birds left over/bought out from the uk breeding stock from the arpis1 failed import. Avgen the new company took the facility over and have new imports on the go and many more beautiful breeds will be hopefully coming here as well as ones to boost or gene poolLuke my cream legbar roo is not the best. He did hatch from lovely blue eggs and his sisters were nice but unfortunately the fox thought the same thing about that. This guy is missing a crest and could have better colour (sorry the photos aren't the best) but I'm after his auto sexing and blue egg genes.![]()
