Teila - they sure are little characters. I had to get up for Steve being noisy again this morning. Hagrid was hogging the nest box again. I tried to encourage Steeve to use the other nest box but she was having none of that. When Hagrid eventually got up and walked off there was no egg! I think she just likes annoying Steve.

Thank you everyone for your good-lucks on my hatchies. Tomorrow is the day!.

I've left Snitzel in one of the communal nest boxes throughout the whole of the incubation period (normally I move them so they don't get disturbed). Yesterday I fenced off her box in preparation of the new arrivals in case an over zealous hen comes in for a closer look.
I have absolutely no idea how many to expect to hatch, first experience with dark eggs so fingers crossed I get a few
