Congrats on all the eggs! That is wonderful!

@Teila Hope you get rid of those pests soon. We just treated the whole flock for northern fowl mites because one of our roosters had them. We dusted them with sevin dust. But I am going to look for the stuff that @Fancychooklady posted.

Until you live in Australia and from my experiences qld. You can not understand our weather systems here. Qld has been drought declared for over a year now in certain parts. We have had some nice rains this month., Because people in the city have mains water they have to restrict the amounts that is used and on what days . Glad that I live in the country now. Spending the money to have a bore put in is well worth it for me. Only having tank water, I would be forever paying to have water trucked in. With a bore I can water when I want . Until you live in a rural area where if it doesn't rain your stuffed it is really hard to grasp( we were here 2 years before we got the bore put in..). While other parts of Australia get so much rain they are over it.. It's really a lucky dip thing.

Well I think I survived the 8 hour power cut yesterday.\
Rcom incubator plugged into 300 watt inverter
- Inverter plugged into SuperCheap Auto 1200 amp battery pack
- Battery pack attached to battery charger.

Charger keeps battery charged up. When power cuts out, battery takes over.
Incubator doesn't miss a beat.
