Awww I'm very sorry Fancy. I get told all the time "they are just chickens, why do you go to all that trouble?" Well to some they are 'just chickens', but over their lifetime we've come to know their personalities, their likes and dislikes, fed them, took care of them when they were sick, gave them treats - just like you would any other pet.K we had the vet here Sunday and it cost $350 for advice and 4 tetanus shots. I have had my darling little ginger living inside for 2 months and I realized on Xmas eve that she just wasn't going to get better. She had sardines and pudding with custard and hubby put her down on Boxing Day.
Every time I walk through the foyer , I expect to see her and hear her growling at me to change her bed.
