It wasn't a noise complaint, it was a keeping chickens complaint!

Do these people not have lives? Guy came and inspected but said as far as he was concerned he couldn't see a problem. We have to be 4.5m from a dwelling but that's their coop not the run so miles within that. It's clea, doesn't smell and chooks are in good condition. He wasn't bothered at all. He is going to double check but it wasn't the rooster but rather that we were keeping chooks on his report.

Yeah same where my parents are. Two doors down a guy has about 15 greyhounds tied up and left to bark for weeks at a time as the house is empty. Not too bad where they are put shocking for guy between them. Clearly outside guidelines but council does nothing.

you can't really luke if she decides she wants to stay there. All you can do is to mark the eggs you are going to let her sit on and then remove any fresh eggs laid by the other hens. I have a malay game that wont be moved if she is broody. I think at the moment in the main house we have something like 10 broody hens. Son has to throw them out of the boxes each afternoon to collect eggs.

Well, if they are colored I don't think i will have to mark them.lol.

Some people. If i where you i would parade around the neighbors homes with a armful of chickens and have some slices of bread to bring up the rest of the girls from behind. heheh
