Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

Think the chooks had their own way of saying up yours Luke, I've never heard them so noisy as this afternoon. Even the rooster was joining in and clucking at the top of his voice. Rather bizarre but funny the timing lol

As for posting, my brother looked out in time to see an Australia post guy kick his parcel the rest of the way to the door one christmas. Needless to say he now uses a PO Box lol

Satay. You mentioned acv earlier, where do you get that? I'd sort of thought it was more American and we would have trouble finding it?

WHAT? that is ridiculous. That is so slack. Why on earth.  If anyone did that to me:mad: !!!!!!!!

Luke i have been sending eggs through aust post for many years now. Unfortunately they do not offer a fragile service nor will they allow you to insure eggs so it is pot luck that they make it ok. I have had most of mine make it well but one lot i sent to S.A was totally trashed by Aust post.

Some great advice there, Thankyou :)
I won't need a box that big since it's talking about shipping two dozen and I'll only be shipping six eggs. Do you think using another would be ok?
Also, it says only ship on Mondays but is it really worth waiting? Satay, would you like me to wait to send them?

Overnight express is fine if you ship on a wed. Usually it only takes one day but it can take a few so the general rule is don't ship after wed to allow for time delays by aust post.

You can buy 500ml bottles in your health food section at coles etc. You have to get the one from the health food section as it is unfiltred and that is the important bit. I however buy mine by the 5 litres container from my produce store as it works out cheaper with all the animals i have. Just have to remember with ACV it can only be used in plastic waterers not metal.

More drama on the dog next door front. 2 days ago it got in and attack Zeus our border collie cross. Lucky he only has a couple of teeth marks to his nose /face area. I rang the council again. Yesterday the went to see the owner of the property and the owners of the dog and they both denied the dog was off the lead. (hubby later went and saw the owner of the property after work and he admitted he did not really know if the dog was on the lead then as he was not outside). So council have told me the wont do anything unless i can actually photograph the dog in my yard. MInd you my house is 2+ acres from where the stupid thing gets in all the time so chasing it down with my camera before it can dive back under the fence is mission impossible. So today I am going to call the mayor not sure if i will get anywhere there either but worth a shot.
