Pick her up and take her out of the nest and remove the eggs. You may need gloves if she is an over aggressive hen. You could always buy some fertile eggs and give her a few to hatch.

Im trying to source a few fetile eggs for her now. If I get some should I seperate her from the other chickens?

Invest in a pair of thick garden gloves so she can't peck you then pick her up and put her in the yard while you grab the eggs.
Depending on how many days old that makes them I'd probably chuck them and then do the same daily.

If you are going to move her, do it now before you buy her eggs. That way she is nice and settled in her new spot (or you know she isn't going to settle) before you put the fertile eggs under her. Just give her a few of these in the meantime.

Your birds are lovely, Ashburnham!

I'm kind of used to my Anconas, who consider the sight of a human to be some sort of message from the apocalypse, so by comparison, the Araucana is super friendly. Though she actually hops up for cuddles, maybe she's just like that.

The red anconas are pretty but man do they hate to be caught.
I think it's all in how you interact with them. My Anconas and GSH are both supposed to be flighty breeds but are lapchickens. My Araucana is a little flighty but I'm pretty sure how obscured her vision is goes a long way toward explaining that. I'd trim her feathers but that seems like asking for an eye injury.

She gave me SUCH the stink eye when I took this.

And one of my roosters was all, "I WILL CUT YOU!" in her defense. Poor little crumpet. Bottom of the rooster totem pole, terribly skittish and afraid but wants to protect the ladies who won't even follow him. I'm working on making him more comfortable. Mealworms making great bribing material.

Frankly their pecking and anger is always a little anticlimactic to me. A lot of fuss and very little actual impact. They are scarier when brooding than they look (or maybe I just have great big non-threatening sooks). I just pick them up and boot them off the nest (y'know, gentle-like) and go about my work. They complain loudly and come back when I'm gone.
