So who is getting ready to set eggs on first weekend of march for the Easter hatch along?

Unfortunately not this year. My birthday is Easter Sunday and my hubby's, my brothers(older) and my brother in laws birthdays are all easter Monday and everyone is coming here for our birthdays/easter this year so I wont have time to be hatching this time.My younger brother used to date a girl years ago that had a birthday the same day as mine. Thankfully his wifes birthday is May lol.

Well my hen is, but Im not so keen LOL

I dont have a broodie cage worked out yet so she is trying very hard to hatch two eggs and I am trying equally hard to not let her. At the moment she has found the most difficult spot in the coop for me to get to. Darn her!

Trouble is she is a frizzle and so is dad so not going to be able to let that happen.

NO-one is laying here right now. I just filled the incubator with eggs I got from a friend who has ducks from my flock. 27 eggs in- its the biggest setting of eggs I have ever done. I hope to get a dozen at least - since I think many of the eggs wont be fertile - sadly- no eggs for the Easter hatch along.
