Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

:D Which languages does your son know? Ours is coded in C++. If he knows that language my husband could share the code we already have with him and could help him if he doesn't understand anything. :)

He says C# and Java, but that it makes sense that you would have used C++ because it's mainly used for AI programming. Anyway, thanks for the offer, but I think I'll let him have a shot first after we have collected all the bits and see how he does.

I'll definitely ask about the use by dates the next time I restock.  Considering how squeamish I am, prevention is definitely my best bet.

Satay - if you come down this way again to costco I'd love to swop you something for a banana cutting!  Although, going by your extensive garden I'm not sure what I have that you may not.  I'll make a list in case you are interested.  : )

Sure I have 2 types. Gold finger and lady finger. I would be happy to give you one of each. No need to swap :). I'll let you know when we are coming that way again.

Yay! I had almost given up on getting my hands on a banana cutting. I do have something you haven't mentioned in my garden, so I'll just surprise you.

Thanks Satay!

Day 18! Yay! Last candle and lockdown this afternoon! Fingers crossed this is a better hatch!

I also have a broody hen who is firmly entrenched on the nest. She is usually such a quiet, easy chook...now she is positively rabid! I can't imagine what my more high maintenance girls will be like if they go broody!
She isn't eating even though I have food and water next to her so I will be taking her a few mealworms each afternoon to try and coax her out to eat...

I finished covering the sides of the coop. It was previously just open mesh walls and has been for 40 years. I have been working on getting some tin up to block the wind and rain a bit. Next up I will be finding some old heavy tarps to hang on the inside...cosy it up a bit. I have also been tidying up the wire and mesh and plugged a few wee gaps. Just little improvements here and there.
