Had no luck with an incubator bought on eBay was busted and is a pain to try and return so I went to a poultry sale and bought a

She is a cutie- I'm afraid that eBay can be hazardous for electronics. I had one lasted 2 hatches after the third hatch 4/24 I then bit the bullet and spent the money on a good rcom. Hatch rate was outstanding 20/24 posted eggs ! I hope your Silkie is a great broody mumma.

Won't be buying electronics in eBay anymore, called this fluffy little hen pearl the girls thinks it suit her she's an older hen about two years old really did not want a pullet the dude at the poultry sale told me she does not lay much as she often goes broody and has hatched a few of his other breed so I'm kinda hoping

Even though you are only really wanting her as a broody, I would still quarantine her for 4-6 weeks. You don't want to risk any upper respiratory issues with newly hatched chicks.

Yes, I have quarantined pearl she is in her own pen and have treated her for lice, mites and wormed her as well. I don't think I will integrate her with the others she seems so defenceless. I will let her free range with the others though. I have no fertile eggs now as I've lost them since the bator never worked
