Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

On dear, what a day yesterday was, we had a major issue at work and I was still replying to Helpdesk tickets at 11pm last night.

The timing could not have been worse because I could not get two seconds to log in and say:

“The Drought Has Been Broken”

Dusty laid an egg yesterday! Woot Woot!

I think the final tally was 49 days.

Deej211 congrats on Pepper’s first egg. Love the new acquisitions.

appps lols at Peppa Pig. Dusty’s nickname is Dust Bin, because she is a garbage guts!

As Fancy mentioned, sardines definitely; pasta also. It may sound silly, but rather than scrambled eggs, have you tried mashed, boiled eggs? There is a difference in that she can then pick out either yolk or white as opposed to them being scrambled in together.

satay I am sitting here today with woolly socks on, tracky pants, thick T-shirt and windcheater; if I could type with them on, I would also have gloves on … you know the silly thing is I have the windows and front and back doors open .. lol
It has to be really cold for me to close the windows, I hate that shut in feeling.

Sam love my flannel sheets, they just take off that cold edge in comparison to cotton ones.

The brewery picture is beautiful Fancy. Love the bird pics also, while I know he is a predator, can’t help admiring how beautiful the sea eagle is.

chooks01 good luck with FWM’s you have cook’n.

Your sleeping beauty is adorable tandykins.

:celebrate Congratz on breaking the drought :)

Dusty's eggs have always tended towards being pointy but this is a new level of pointedness, even for her!

And here it is sitting next to a shop bought egg .......

I sell fertile eggs and often get people telling me "no pointy eggs" because they've heard they make male chickens (*EYEROLL*). Please. Some of my chickens ONLY lay very pointy eggs. So annoying.

You know it's cold here when the little red breasted robins come down off the mountain to the valley floor.

And my friend the sea eagle is becoming a regular visitor to the garden.

How funny, I chased one with my camera this morning. (Red breasted robin not the eagle :). He was in a tree out the front when I got home from town but zipped round the back. I rushed inside and grabbed the camera and finally found him in a tree out the back. Got one shot then he was off over the fence. Unfortunately I'd forgotten I had it set on the timer so by the time the shutter finally clicked all I got was a tree duh. I don't remember ever seeing one here before so was most put out I didn't get him to add to my backyards bird photo collection.

@Teila. May it be the first of many! Pointy or not :)

Sounds like you might be somewhere near me. That's exactly the weather I've been having here on the limestone coast
