Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

You know it's cold here when the little red breasted robins come down off the mountain to the valley floor.

And my friend the sea eagle is becoming a regular visitor to the garden.

Happiness is a post-belly-scratch baby snoozing in your lap. <3 She comes when called now. Such a spoiled baby. 6 weeks old.

How is everyone? My in-laws are gone. I'm working through the stress release period now that things are getting back to normal.

Beautiful I love our bird life in Australia!

Omg you and fancy can have your weather. So far we have only made it to 14c but I'll take that over your weathers. Yesterday fancy I saw Hobart 11c feels like 1c
felt like the rain was going to turn to snow yesterday!

We have huge flocks of short billed corellas and galahs here. They and the black cockatoos raid the pine trees in my yard and drop bits and pieces of pine-cone everywhere. Does not make walking in the yard without shoes very nice.

Swarms of galahs hang out in my yard. They and the sulphur crested cockatoos will hang out picking at fruit from my plum trees while my chickens stand nearby glaring at them. My vet said to keep wild parrots away from my chickens. I'm not sure how he expects me to do that without me keeping them indoors.

Right? A little bit difficult to do.

My rooster Casanova really hates the mynah birds that come into the yard while they are out free ranging. He makes a point of hunting them away. It's quite funny because he's so small.

My little tiny golden spangled hamburg pullet Grendel will lose it completely and chase away the currawongs who land in our yard. They're significantly larger than her. It's adorable.
