Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

While they are not fully integrated as yet, there is some sharing of common ground.  I will do them all in 3 weeks and yep, won't forget the redose.

Thanks again!  I didn't think of the common ground factor.

As I said, no-one looks unwell and I do use ACV in their water.  I know it is not a wormer but apparently it maintains a good pH balance in their digestive system and makes it a little uncomfortable for worms to live in.

I only use ACV as an occasional tonic. It is said to make the calcium in the diet less available . In human studies there are reports that it may lower bone density.
I'm not convinced either way so I use it in moderation. You can't beat clean fresh water for optimum health.
Cascade brewery are making a fabulous acv with mother, available at health food stores it tastes really nice. Remember to always dilute in water if you take it yourself as it actually strips the enamel off your teeth if taken ' neat '.
Here's how to make your own.

Yeah, there's a bit of trick to get them drinking it. Before dusk go out and remove all water sources. Next morning mix the wormer up and fill all the water dishes. They will usually drink their fill before they realize the difference. You really want them to drink as much as possible in a 6-8 hour period. After that tip it out and replace with fresh water.

I did that but I think they still outsmarted me!

Hi guys! Sorry i havent been on in ages! Ull be pleased to know all my chickens have merged into the one flock now, yay! However ive had a big problem tonight and not sure how to handle the situation, have posted in the emergencies injuries diseases section. Basically wondering whether to seperate my 2 roosters after their massive fight tonight for them to both recover or whether to leave them as is and hope they dont do the same tomorrow. Im worried if i seperate them then it will be forcing another fight upon reintroduction.

Depends on how bad the injuries are. I had 2 go at it and one pierced the others hock with his spur. He eventually died from his injuries. Roos can live happily together and then the hormone switch gets flicked on and then it's all over. You have 2 choices , you could leave them together and ' let the best man win ' or separate them. Is it possible to rehome one ?
Oh and they do more damage with their beaks. I nearly lost my prized blue laced red wyandotte when the roo from an adjoining pen tried to peck his brain out. He did recover with lots of TLC and terramycin but he looks like a vulture , his head feathers never grew back.

Hi hun, thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Both their combs are bleeding but that seems to be it at this stage. Its soooo hard to think of rehoming one, im sure i could but theyre both my beautiful boys! Its really not possible to seperate them permanently without rehoming.. at this stage im thinking ill get up early and see how they go, if they go at it straight away ill have to seperate and rehome.. :-(

Just supervise and hopefully they will sort who's on top . Blood around the head can look a lot worse than it really is. That being said if you chunks of comb being torn off, time to step in. Good luck. :)

Yes it looks really bad on first sight but luckily being sleep time i got to have a good look and im thinking they will be ok. They did come up with a winner tonight and Hector ran into the corner and buried his head so im hoping he will bow again in the morning and that will be the end of it. Hopefully Rodney will feel no need to take it any further as he suffered just as much damage..

Thank u! X
