Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

Red, Marans are very expensive and now a day's it is hard to get a dark egg layers, like a 7+. As a just small flock owner I wouldn't get them but if you want to then go ahead

.

Satay has Wellies so check with her. but I know They have nice temperaments and are decent mothers.

EE's are hard to come around in Aus, apart from Ash. There are not alot of experimental breeders, well around my area it is all about the pure breed.

So Araucana's might be your best bet. But they can be quite pricey to.

At this stage Luke I don't plan selling my welly eggs. Have my test hatcher who has done a great job with his first lot that I am sure will do a great job with the welly eggs when they are ready to go. :) Right Luke ;).

Yes please!
I don't really know anyone as I am a bigginner with chickens. New to different breeds, I just have what my local rural store has to offer.
The girls I have now are all nice and calm and good layers.
My hubby knows someone who worked with him, but left now. They keep in contact.....
He said I can buy an EE from him one day, when he has some, but non available yet. I am patient :) Is $30 a good price for an EE pullet ?
I would love a dark brown egg layer too.
