Hay, is it possible to hatch quails and chicken eggs in the same hatch???

It is Luke but you would have to put the quail eggs in 5 days after you set the chicken eggs. I personally would advise if you do it that way to have 2 brooders as the chickens being so much bigger at hatch may squash you quails.

I have 2 broodies at the moment, which is 2 too many when you only have 9 chooks! I feel like their broodiness is being wasted.

Get a friend in Esk to send you some eggs. No wasted broodies then lol

You lock them down all together on day 18 for chickens and they should in theory hatch at the same time. Hatching together would be fine.
