Just a Q, There is one egg ( Marans ) that has got a hole in the sell but the sack is not broken. So really it's not pipping. Is this a problem? I think it might be from the other chicks. They really are making a mess.

Just keep an eye on it for a bit Luke. If the membrane under the shell looks dry and shrivelled at all you may have to help but i would give it a while longer first.

If your worried you could get a small piece of paper towel and wet it and lay it over the dry part of the shell.

Ben , I have been swamped with orders, have some slw going off to Canberra in tomorrow's post and I'm collecting coro and light Sussex for a local guy, but when your incubator is vacant let me know. My Broody has hatched 6 blue laced red Wyandotte , sooo cute. Unfortunately my camera is in Perth, had a perfect photo oportunity , but alas no camera. The couple my hubby & daughter are staying with are looking for a nice barnevelder roo, do you know of any Ben? I think they are near chigwell?? Sorry spelling could be wrong , long time since I've been in WA, 2006
