Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

Fancychooklady and Ashburnham, thank you both so much for your replies.

I have stopped the ACV and only tried the garlic as I was advised that it may 'dislodge' some worms as evidence in the poop. That didn't happen and it was stopped a couple of days ago.

She has some Tetracycline in her water, a small supply of honeyed water (to hopefully lift her spirits) and she had a snack on some scrambled eggs and yoghurt. She has also been wormed so now all I guess I can do is sit back and hope for the best.

Thanks again! Much appreciated.

Thank you sweet heart. I don't need any yet, but thanks I will know who to ask when the time comes. I don't mind risking Australia Post. Might get an egg transporter box I saw on ebay and post you one empty, so you have it ready to send me a batch when I need some. I can pay you for them and return postage through paypal or bpay when the time comes. Wish I lived in QLD near you, but the post will have to do. I know canary and quail eggs can last fertile up to a month if kept in a cool place, is this the same with chicken eggs? Anyways we can figure something out down the track. My girls have just started laying and I don't think they have any idea about getting broodie at the moment. Also are araucanas easy to sex?

Hatching chickens eggs about 10 days is best to get them in the incubator or under a broody. I have not got them separated for breeding yet . prob will get around to that in the next few weeks. If you get a broody let me know whenever it is and I can figure something out for you. They are not that hard to sex but not sexable as day olds . You know you could move in across the road from me the 6 acre block with a house is for sale there lol .;):p

I am glad to here I am not the only one with stupid sinus problems. I was the same as you last week. I was sure my brain was going to explode. Its amazing how much ewww our noses can produce. Thank you for you kind word of encouragement. I will give nurofen sinus a try, I will give anything a try. I have been taking nurofen, antihistamine, nasal rinses and sprays, but non of it seems to help give me much relief though. During the night I sneezed over 50 times in a row and woke my husband who thought I wasn't able to breath enough in between "ahhhhhhchooows" because I went blue in the face. He is going to take me back to the GP tomorrow because he has seen how hard it is for me the breath.
When we are well, we just take breathing for granted.
Thank you so much for caring sweet heart. :love

Hey hope your feeling better. I use a asthma preventative with my sinus bouts. Helps me breath. Maybe ask about it.

Oh sorry to hear you have all been sick. I think I permantly have sinus or hay fever I found my sizzle hen with a stash of eggs down the back before cheeky girl she looked just like a feather duster hiding beside one of the water tanks. Have left her there. Will have to wait and see if she hatches anything,

Lol your hens are good at that satay
