I am from rural Victoria, and boy did we have a lot of browns there. I lost count of the pets I lost to brown snakes, Eastern mainly. That is why I developed a hatred for snakes, caused me a lot of tears over the years. (and money)

No, it seems to take up that spot in the evening and stay there until morning. The last 2 mornings it is still there at 5am, but gone by 8am, and is back in place by 5.30pm. It doesn't care if I am there or not, I can touch it and it doesn't move. Maybe you need another one, Satay.

The old man who had chickens ( 50 ) before me used to walk into the nest boxes and find snakes trying to swallow whole full grown hens ( are they where not little silkies ) but the funny/horrible/weird thing about it was the bloody thing could get a whole chicken down s in the end the hen would just suffocate and the snake would have to leave it.....
Hope I haven't scared you to much!!!![]()

I wish we got 2 doz quail eggs a day..or even just 1!!!!
What I normally do Luke is run a batch of 60 quail eggs thru the bator. Let them grow out. Some are sold as live quails some will go for snake feed. When my stocks get low I repeat the hatching. My excess eggs I sell as hatching eggs posted all around Australia.Oh I would be so sure Rexy.

Now i have a question for mog? maybe. I think it was you that helped me when i tried to get the vision clearer of the dog from the neighbours who got in the yard. I was sent a really cool short video from a quail customer yesterday wanting to know if her jap had gone broody. I have never seen it before. I uploaded from
my mob to pc but it is in 3pg or 3gp something like that for and wont open on my pc. I tried opening it with vlc media but no go. I really wanteds to post it on here as it is the coolest thing. Any ideas? or anyone else for that matter?
Try googling 'any video converter'to download. It is free and very easy to use.
