Ash love your coops they are looking great. Seeing how you love to build and all I could do with a few new pens... Oh and do you build in covered areas lol. After all it would be just a small car trip and I would promise to feed you and all lol.

I did actually buy new roof tin this time. And Dahlsens had a special on non-structural pine. All the rest is old stuff I had a round the farm.
Total cost maybe $200.

Sorry to hear appps, tell us how it goes. If it is only "recommended" to get rid of your roos i would keep him straight up.

Hi all, I can't post in buy sell trade for some reason so I thought id post here- hope that's ok.
I'm in gippsland Victoria and I have a barred rock hen and rooster. I only have one egg a day but I can't possibly incubate and hatch all of them. Already have twelve incubating, no idea what I'm going to do with the chicks.

So.,
Does anyone want some fertile barred rock eggs? Free of course, although if they need to be shipped I would appreciate some toward that cost.

I had a look at the pic of your rooster on another thread, and my old Barred Rock rooster was at least that big.
The Yanks must breed them smaller over there. lol
