Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

Hi Sam, they look a little like Leghorn Bantams, but I can't be sure from the photo's.

Here are the Peafowl I'm looking at (so totally buying, no matter the cost of shipment). They appear to be 3 hens and a boy...

Their mother is photobombing them...

Actually, it's a nice story. The owner though they had lost her to a fox (and her eggs) only to have her show up a month later with this lot. Hen raised chicks are likely to raise their own, though I know someone who's Peahen was raised by a Chicken hen, and now it thinks she is a chicken and won't hang out with her Peacock...

I hope you get on well with your neighbours. lol
The males make a hell of noise in breeding season.

Ash, I've heard of a Barnacarna (Barnevelder cross Araucana) but never a Maranacarna. I look forward to seeing the results

Beautiful. If I had space I would.

Did anyone else catch better homes and gardens to tonight? My daughter was sitting rattling off breeds as they showed them and then I added one she missed and she laughed and says hey mum we are like chicken nerds lol
