The babies are going really well. I am going to take them outside for some grass time later on today when it warms up a bit more. Will do my best to get some decent pictures of all 5 of them then. The light in the office here places havock with my camera so can't really get any good inside pics.
Thanks for the heads up on the quails. :) Better not add any new lines for now or hubby might kill me lol. Red may like them though.
 
lol Yeah I hit hubby up for a roo for a few months to get babies there is a french wheaten marran roo free down the road !

I figured you guys were talking about them and the photo was lovely ! have a look at the add and you can see egg size comparison !

Mine lay pretty large eggs. It's hard to tell from the pictures. I may just email her to see what size she says they are.
Generally females need to be over 300gms at 6 weeks of age to be classed as jumbo and I think eggs need to be 16gm min weight. Quails are cool regardless of size or weight and I love how they are so excited to see you when you go into the pens in the mornings unlike some of my ungrateful other poultry lol
