Okay, I'm going to post this before my computer eats it again. Here it's sunny and about 13-15 C, let's hope it stays that way long enough for my poultry to have a good free-range day.

Not bad for mid winter.

I am regularly getting 6-7 eggs a day from 8 hens.

I'm thinking I'm just going to buy hens rather than try to hatch the different breeds I want. I just get too attached to the little roosters I found a home for five of my boy chicks. One man is taking five. He said he wants them to run in the paddock with his sheep. Sounds a little odd but I made him promise he's not going to eat them.

So, I think I have a bcm sorted. Just need a houdan and a lavender Araucana.

Oh, and I finally built my nesting boxes for the pallet coop I'm terrible at measuring but ended up not bad I think. Got too dark for pictures will get some soon.

Satay, I thought it was just wheaten. Dunno sorry.

Thanks, I've been working on these guys for years and finally got this great layer of pigment over the olive eggers.. They even have little brown speckles, the photo does no justice... I'm so excited to see what the other pullets ...
