So who else harnesses chicken power to do their gardening for them??
I must admit I like planning my garden much more than weeding it lol. So it tends to go to weeds on me all the time. I've had the chooks in the back part of a large garden that I haven't had weed free for ten years at least and the little darlings have it looking so smart I've extended their run to include some more of it.
They particularly liked the bit close to the temporary dividing fence near my herbs and not only ate all those darn weeds with the seeds that grab your clothes but ate my wandering jew too. Then decided to dig it over for me there as well. So...I've just moved the temporary fence back a bit and planted some more herbs in that lovely cultivated bit
I'd really like to build something to fit over my vege garden plots so they could keep the empty ones ready for me too.
Anyone else using chicken labour?
