I know right. We were at a BBQ sitting under a tree trying to cool down. 20 mins later we were huddled in the shed wearing all the hosts polar fleece jackets.

Best not tell mum that lol. I went to Brissy yesterday to see her before she leaves for her trip to Tassie on Sunday.. She is sooo excited lol.

So how are they going? Has she accepted her mate yet?

Not sure Sandee I was away all day yesterday. Monday night they were sitting on the same perch... Quite a distance apart from each other but no fighting. Picked my first dragon fruit of the season last night. Will post picture later . have about 20 on the plant this year

Not as hot out here sandee at the moment but boy we could do with some rain. My grass has returned to crunchy green. We have more bush babies lol. Another two mum came out of the banana garden on Monday afternoon with a total of 11 babies. They had a hidden nest under the lemon grass.

That's a great start though As long as there is no fighting means she is accepting him slowly

I was gonna say, not very often we had green grass in Qld lol
I have been supplying water for all our native and not so native birds and animals around here. Trying not to encourage the pesty ones by feeding them, but feel sorry for any animal in this weather
