Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

Snapped a couple of bedtime shots of the jelly beans. They are a bit fuzzy but it was getting late and did not have time to mess around with light settings and trusted the auto focus! :) They are nearly two weeks old. Check out the hair do on the little grey one! lol Tina is a bit dirty in this one, had a nice dust bath before bed. Doesn't stop her being one very proud mumma though! :)
Oh how cute are they :love

Thanks for the good wishes. : ) I have definite chirping this morning & Snowy keeps shifting as if she is being poked by something underneath. It's not a full chorus of chirping so there may only be one, but that's ok as long as it survives. I'm waiting for it to warm up now so I can take the lid off the dog box myself & shift Snowy to see what is going on. I'm really hoping that the chirping was not from inside an egg!

Thanks, but looks like its going to be another long day here.

Just let them out and Penny very helpfully went for her morning breakfast letting me have a really good look at the eggs and I cant see, or hear for that matter, anything happening at all

(and I was very good, sat on my hands and just looked LOL)

Hopefully the little blighters finally get the memo that they are late for hatch day sometime today.

appps - I'm really hoping we both have some good news by the end of the day.

I counted my days wrong & then read about broodies having theirs on day 20 so have been waiting FOREVER! At least the play sand is comfortable to kneel in seeing as I'm the only one (apart from my daughter of course) that has used it.

Did I mention that after four days I finally outsmarted my broody and have managed to keep her out of the nesting box?

Not sure which is sadder, that it took me four days to outsmart a chicken or that I'm proud of the accomplishment lol
