Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

Morning folks

AussieChics it was interesting to read that your gals do not like salad; lettuce and tomato are real favourites for my banties. They love Kale. Besides meal worms and watermelon, my Silkie’s other favourite food is tomato. The others eat it; she loves it!

Have you tried chopping it into bite sized pieces? I pop the lettuce into a bowl and hack at it with the scissors for a few minutes.

Fancy the banners are beautiful; so colourful and of course, the subject matter is superb

While some may think my loss is not on the same scale, bad day here also, I lost my 5 year old gold pond fish to a type of Heron. I am going to miss him/her. He/she had gotten very big, it’s gold friend is going to miss it also

Not much other news from here. Cilla is having another attempt at being broody and I am having another attempt at breaking her

yeah I have one of those tupperware things that chop it up nicely. They ate it eventually just not as quickly as they would cauliflower. Weirdos

gave them mealworms for the first time yesterday! Well that turned into a reminder of who is where on the pecking order lol the chicks had a blast! 1 would find one and run with the other 2 trying to catch it. Just the entertainment I needed after work.

hope everyone has a great day! Nearly friday woohoo

I think Tassie would be more to my liking too climatewise if I were to move to the land down under. I don't know how you crazy Ozzies handle the +40 weather.

Us normal aussies would freeze on that funny little island  :plbb It was better weather yesterday only reaching 38c. Next Monday our max temp for the day is expected to be 25C if that is the case it will be almost 20c cooler than the Monday before. Ill surely need a jumper :lau

Oh Teila you are always so kind. Sorry about your goldfish. I took a heap of pics yesterday of a momma duck and 14 ducklings but alas today their numbers will have thinned. I look forward to your pics.
