I woke to findore hatched babies !

24 posted eggs 21 made it to day 12 and 18 into lockdown

Lost one that was cracked not sure how but I suspect hatched chick
So it shrink wrapped I couldn't save it so ....

10/12 BPRs (

happy dance) and 5/12 LS with one pipped and one nothing
Yet.

Very very happy with my rcom much better success than last hatch of 5/25 (1 was LS and 4 silkies)

Now I tried to sex the BPR's after I read the BYC guide and I'm confident on two hens possibly 4 more are hens too fingers crossed

That's a very impressive hatch rate Sam. I've got 6x chicks and a roo packed up in a box ready to go in the horse truck , headed for ulverstone . Yesterday I picked up a very nice Silver Laced Wyandotte cockerel. The girls will have a months holiday while he is in quarantine.
