In other news, I have 2 fertile eggs sitting under my Ara hen to hatch for somebody else - her own broody hatched out some eggs, but owner didn't realise other hens had been laying in with her and so ended up with a staggered hatch. Hen abandoned the 2 eggs, so now I have them. Hatch day should be very soon

I've tried to get some better close up photo's of the girl who's starting to show red and grow bits particularly under her chin with comparison to one of the others at approx the same distance.
I'm having difficulty uploading them so will try again later
