Hello Everyone, I am not sure if any one will do this but I am after a short term chicken, duck and possibly geese sitter. I live in an area called Macksville, NSW on the Mid North Coast and at the end of March I will be moving/traveling and wanted to know if anyone would like to take care of my chickens and ducks. I would really like it if you were into permaculture, organics or biodynamics, if you are interested in thior know someone who is can you please message me back, I realy love my birds!

One option is to look into house sitters. My sister has a friend who used to do it all the time. Somebody gets free accomodation in return for watching your house and caring for your pets. There was sites and people come with references etc. just a thought!

I prefer to call it the encouragement of owning lovely birds but i think you are probably right

Thank you for your advice but we are moving house and going traveling for a while and we won't have a house! So we unfortunately can't do that! We are so grateful for your help though, I realy appreciate it, Thank You,

Satay - thank you for the information re: crossing the Birchen and Wheaton Marans.

Fancy - here's a picture of my speckle, her name is Speckles and the RIR is Rosie.

PS. the flock just grew by another 2 WMs which I just could not resist. (don't tell my husband though, he hasn't noticed them yet)
