Fizzybelle ...... wishing Agnes a very speedy recovery. ... Sounds like she is in very good hands, and the results from whatever little test swab or whatever, they took from her eyes, will tell them what it is, and what she is to be given, so that is a positive. ...

Good luck.

.......Cheers -

Hope the drops work fizzybelle. Fingers crossed!

Some people just make you shake your head. Can't imagine dumping an animal at the tip.

Finally starting to collect more eggs to hatch and now anni and Teila have started to lay so i am going to try to add a few of those to the incubator too when i get them all ready to go. Finally got a little rain to yesterday 11mm. Best we have had in a long time.

Gooood morning

Why am I in a good mood? Cos I worked the Brisbane Ekka day and have tomorrow off as TOIL, so today is my Friday; long weekend! Woot woot!

Howdy manualname welcome to BYC and the thread, nice to meet you!

Got everything crossed that Agnes makes a full recovery Fizzybelle. It certainly does sound like she is in good, caring hands.

How anyone can dump an animal of any description because they do not want it anymore is mind boggling. It is not like there are no other options

satay good to read about your increased egg production and also the rain. About time Teila started earning her keep!

We got some rain yesterday but not as much as we could have if the front had gone over us instead of past us. I was watching it on the radar and was chuffed to see that Esk was getting rain.

Morning. It's a shame that people think that animals are just commodities and put on this earth to serve us. There is currently a saga unfolding here where a dog was picked up in Hobart by a couple holidaying from Victoria. They decided to take the dog home with them on the boat and a week after decided that they didn't want it and surrendered it to the pound in Frankston . Why on earth they didn't take it to a vet in Hobart and at least attempt to reunite it with its owner is beyond me. The lovely people at mangalore kennels have now purchased the dog and are flying her back home, at their expense. Let's hope this poor pup finds a loving home. In my opinion the couple should pay for her flights, being as they stole her.

Ok so one egg did take.... apparently miss lazy wasnt sitting properly for the first week. I have no clue who the egg belonged to but what are the possibilities i could get from what looked like a splash roo and white or a splash roo with a black with a bit of brown or silver?
Thats the roo

Agree with all, re the dumping of animals. Absolutely disgusting.

And yes Fancy ... those idiots from Frankston should have been charged with something - or at least required to pay airfare cost for the dog back to Tasmania. The only thing in their favour ( if there can be such a thing ), is that they didn't 're-dump' the dog, once they got it back here. They took it to the pound - not nice, but better than just letting it go in an unknown area.

Cheers .....

Hehe, your guess would be as good as anyone's. Once you throw white or silver into the mix it's pretty much unpredictable. :)
