Sorry, I'm gonna overwhelm you all with pictures of my wee chickies... I know they're a bit young to tell for sure yet, but I'm curious to hear thoughts on which might be little ladies and which might be little men. They're currently/almost 6 weeks old (hatching between 4 - 8 Feb) except for Squirt who'll be 5 weeks old tomorrow.

If they are pea combs on pip and aJ which they look like then aJ is probably a boy. Pip is most likely a girl. For most breeds of pea comb like silkie and Aracuana the combs on the boys widen at the back, and the girls are more narrow

Jessie supervising again

So the end with the frame in the middle is the raised coop which is going to have a slide out, slatted timber floor, same as we have here, ideal for the climate and easy to clean. Two more sections of the run yet to go up so the end product will be the same length again. Plenty of room for 5 x spoiled bantams.

Gosh your hubby is so handy. Did you know Jessie is the most common dog name or so my cousin the vet tells me.
