Australian floods

I know there are already a few threads on the australian floods but I thought I would just give some information and stuff.

here are a few videos on what happened yesterday as flash flooding ripped through the streets of toowoomba. 8 people have been confirmed dead and 72 people missing.

I am fine, I live a few hours away. But I have relatives there, two of whom passed through that very spot just half an hour before.

My house has become a safehouse for some people, I'm on high land`. All my local streets are under - there's no way for me to get out any way right now, all the surrounding suburbs are going under tonight.

It is so scary. I am miles away but have friends who have been evacuated and we haven't heard from them yet.

It's getting worse. I'm doing very well thank G-d and have become a registered safe house for victims of the floods.

Has anyone heard what happened to Ipswich last night? I just woke up and they said the river would break at midnight.
