I hate the way docked tails look that is one think I don’t like about Dobermans, it is nearly impossible to find one without it, unless you get one from Europe. Which I was considering anyways, because I want a European working line.

And I hate the cropped ears! I want a floppy dobbie

I know some people don’t like docking or cropping because they think it’s cruel. I always kind of thought that was ridiculous. It does kind of bother me a little bit now though. The screams of the puppies as they are snipped and cauterized is nearly unbearable. But I know people argue that they are way to little to remember or really feel it. It still bothers me a little bit. But I don’t fault anyone that does it at all. I just don’t like the way it looks

Alrighty then… a bit random lol and not really sure what Dobies have to do with Aussies either but okay I do like Dobies though. They’re cool dogs. And it is an interesting discussion because a lot of people will say it’s for working purposes so they don’t get their tail stomped by a cow or whatever but there’s plenty of Border Collies working cows too (and sheep and whatever else) with tails without getting them stomped on so IDK lol tails are also huge for communication with other dogs and for steering when running lol but at the same time, the dogs without tails seem to compensate for these issues just fine lol

It’s okay LOL I sometimes get confused too because I have a lot of threads of my own as well as participate in a lot so it gets confusing sometimes LOL

The breeder i found for aussies is almost 2 hours away but she has aussies that do herding, conformation, 4h, agility, dock diving, therapy work, service dog work and much more.
She has a litter for next spring planned
