Yeah, it’s crazy!!

Mhm. I was so worried sbout keeping 2 intact dogs especially since we didnt plan on fixing Denver for awhile. But for Tucker its easy. He wont go over a 4ft gate if im in the room.
Only one more heat before she is fixed.
We are planning on fixing her when she is 4 just because of pyo.

Yeah, I bets that’s a relief. I know someone who had to board his male while the female was in heat because he was so bad.

Why do you want to breed?

Because I love this dog so much, he's everything an Aussie should be and I think he's a good candidate for breeding as he has great conformation and the perfect temperament.

Do his parents have proper health testing(hips,elbows,eyes,cardiac)?

I'm not sure because I'm not the one who bought him. He wasn't supposed to be mine but he became attached to me and his buyer gave him to me. I could find out though.

Will you be testing him for those things? Which then you have to do preliminary exams and after 24 months do the actual OFA exams by a certified professional.

I'm very much willing to do all the testing and checkups necessary. I'm not worried about profit in the slightest so I don't care what it costs, how long it takes or what hoops I have to jump through.

Id make sure his parents had testing before as some gentics can skip one puppy but be passed to a offspring. Like ICH.
Then complete your pups testing and go from there. Start with hips and elbows first, then do eyes then cardiac. Then the dna panel test

He sounds like a great dog! Can you share a picture please! I think you should keep him intact, provided you are just extra careful to make sure he does not ever escape (for his safety and to prevent accidental breedings) Just keep in mind that behavioral issues related to maturity usually happen around 8-12 months. So just keep a look out to make sure he doesn’t get out of hand. My dog DEFINITELY got major reactivity when he matured and was a big pain. He is about 98% better now, so neutering is not always the solution to behavioral issues. Neutering most likely would have made my dog much worse because his reactivity was fear based.

He's a black tri, not quite as boxy in the face as your typical standard sized Aussie, he has the more slim nose and legs of a toy.

For sure. I have a pit bull already so the fences are always going to be nearly bulletproof
