I'll probably only be going later on to see the fireworks, walk along the beach. Maybe around 11:30? I'm not really a party girl.

Oh, I will. I'm sure they'll be great, having fireworks out towards the end of the jetty gives everyone a good vantage point, unlike that tiny park in Leeds...

I've not been to many parties, really only small family/friend events.

Im so looking forward to seeing everyone's outfits.

This is a great distraction for me. To take my mind off the fact that another year has passed.
This is the last day of 2011. Does that depress anyone else?

Nope. I love starting new years. It's like turning over a new leaf.

Getting to bundle a year together and store it away somewhere in memory is great.

I am dressed and have taken my photo. I look super weird with short, thick legs from taking the photo myself in a mirror. My dress doesn't look as nice as it really does either. Oh well.
