Australop or Jersey Giant? Roo or Hen?

Yes, they were from a hatchery. It's just hard to tell. We keep thinking rooster , I guess we'll see. I've seen pictures of hens with large combs though as well .

This is where the age of the bird matters. Yes, you see pics of hens with large combs. The key word there is hens, meaning mature female birds. Your bird is immature, at only 4ish months. No female bird is going to have that much comb and color at this age. Plus, the overall build of the bird is male, and topped off by saddle feathers coming in front of the tail.
