I have 4 new australorp chicks and one is not like the others. She is smaller and is all black on her head. Maybe she is a rooster.lol. Can chickens of the same breed be that different in their looks?

Chicks of the same breed can vary quite a bit in color, the black and whites especially seem to have different amounts. Where did you get her from? If she is from a hatchery or someplace like that especially there is also the possibility she may have been mixed up with something else and be something like a production black.

Thanks i did get her from a hatchery. She came in the mail. She is the prettiest chick we have in our flock. Will have to wait and see what she grows up to be
